Find out more

Welcome! We are glad you made it!!!

Are you ready to come party with some of the best talent in East Tennessee? We are calling all hard working people to come and enjoy a weekend filled with music, fun and activities! Let go of work for the weekend and enjoy the fantastic local area talent! Whether you are a fan of the artists or not, if you are a music lover you won't want to be left out!!

There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about us. We hope you come and enjoy our musical moment in the sun! Please support our mission and contribute!   We are taking donations exclusively to support our mission to create a sustainable, working farm that contributes to our passion to establish an exotic animal sanctuary. We want to raise awareness and educate the public about the many unfortunate species on our planet that have lost habitats and the continued struggles these helpless creatures face in their shrinking environments. The animals, who are unable to be returned to the wild, provides an opportunity to save these creatures from careless owners, allow them a life in a safe habitat, while being able to help inform the public.

We created the annual event by bringing the finest musical talent that East Tennessee has to offer in one place for a Labor Day weekend party. As if that order wasn’t tall enough, we have a strong passion and engagement with the musical community of East Tennessee and by bringing the best talent together we want to create a musical community that becomes a unique entity in itself that fosters the growth of local music, musicianship and   becomes a musical event destination. We want to create a musical incubator for artists to showcase their talents to the public, share ideas, grow musically and create lasting relationships. Bare Bones Music Festival ...“where talent comes to play and your invited!” .

BARE BONES FAQs

The Bare Bones Music Festival held on a 36 acre former farm in Dandridge, Tennessee and was purchased by the owner of Jungle Habitat to provide a safe home for abandoned and distressed exotic animals. In support of their cause and in partnership with local area musicians the Bare Bones Music Festival was created. The event was created as an opportunity for area musicians to perform, learn and grow. In turn  some proceeds from the event are donated to Jungle Habitat to support their mission of rescuing and protecting exotic wildlife. Established in 2018 the Bare Bones Music Festival seeks to bring together musicians, musical artists, their extended family, friends and fans to listen, share, collaborate, engage and enjoy music!
